Mayor Swears in Newest Full-Time Police Officer

On Thursday, June 16, 2016 Mayor Anthony J. Court performed the swearing in ceremony of Ellwood City’s most recently hired full-time police officer, Patrolman Richard Kruger.

Patrolman Kruger’s transition into a full-time police officer at the Ellwood City Police Department should be minimal considering his knowledge of the policies and procedures of the department, along with his good working relationship with the other officers, as he has worked part-time at the ECPD for the past year and a half. Many congratulations were extended to Patrolman Kruger as it is believed that he will be an asset to the Department.
