Color Center Hosts “Father’s Day Decoupage”

In need of a Father’s Day gift? Register for Color Center’s “Father’s Day Decoupage,” and transform three wooden blocks into a timeless 3D collage.

The event will be held Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. To participate, register at the Color Center by June 15. The cost is $15.

Guests are asked to submit 9-12 pictures (recommended at least three pictures per block). Pictures will be copied, resized and edited to give an aged appearance. However, guests can request their pictures remain unedited when submitting. Pictures used for the craft will be available the day of the event.

Due to the resizing to square dimensions to fit the cube faces, pictures may require some cropping.

“This is a wonderful activity for people to show their fathers some love and to get the community to join in,” Jaclyn Skurko, one of the event’s organizers, said.

Treats, drinks and music will be provided. Spots are on a first come first serve basis, as space will be limited, so be sure to stop in or email us.

The Color Center is located on 536 Lawrence Ave. Stop by, call 724-758-4410 or email katyhiser@colorcenteronline.com.
