Memorial Day Committee Extends Invitation to Participate

The Ellwood City Memorial Day Committee would like to extend an invitation to the entire community to participate in this year’s parade.

  1. Invitation to veterans of all ages and branches to walk or ride in the parade in honor of the men and women who died in military service for the United States of America.  Any veteran unable to walk the parade route will have the opportunity to ride on a float with other veterans.
  2. Invitation to family members to walk in honor of a loved one. Those interested can take a photo of their loved one to the Color Center on 536 Lawrence Ave. and have it enlarged onto an 18 by 24 inch coroplast yard sign for $12. Photos must be submitted by close of business Monday, May 23 to be printed in time for the parade.
  3. Invitation to community groups to participate by showing their gratitude for those who served.

Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to call Scott Golmic, Parade Director, at 724-816-0498.
