The last day for Ellwood City property taxpayers to receive discounts has been extended one day to May 16.
Borough tax collector Mary Ann Portugallo’s office hours will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, May 16. The tax collector’s office is in the Ellwood City Municipal Building at 525 Lawrence Ave. Her office is normally closed on Mondays but will be open because the original discount deadline fell on a Sunday.
The office will also be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday but tax discounts won’t be available.
