Donald E. Brommer, 60, of Meadville, formerly of Wampum, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital as a result of injuries that he received in an automobile accident on April 13.
Born June 12, 1955 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Ralph I. and Lucille Goodland Brommer. Don was married June 24, 1978 to Joan Porada Brommer, who survives.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. His most cherished time was spent with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Joan, survivors include three sons, Carl (Kathy) Brommer of Meadville, Donald (Jody) Brommer of New Castle, Dan (Kim) Hodge of Tionesta; daughter, Danielle (Mike) Cross of Orwell, Ohio; three sisters, Debbie Langer of Wampum, Kim Downing of Connecticut, Nancy Holmes of New Castle; one brother, Dennis (Cheryl) Brommer of Enon Valley; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister in law, Mary Bowers, and a brother in law, Stanley Langer.
A celebration of Donald’s life was held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Wampum.
