Dolores “Dolly” Gardner, 84

Dolores “Dolly” Gardner, 84, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Golden Hills Nursing Home.

Dolly was born on July 16, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late Stanley and Mary Sienkiewicz Krantz. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1952. Dolly had worked at the V.F.W. Club in Ellwood City as a bartender for over 20 years. She served as the Memorial Day Parade Committee chairperson for many years. Dolly was a member of the V.F.W. post #252 ladies auxiliary, the Eagles Club ladies auxiliary, the Ellport Boosters Club, past president of the Ellport Homemakers, ladies of the MOOSE, the American Legion and the After Prom Committee. She also was a craft vendor at the Ellwood City Arts Crafts and Food Festival.

Dolly is survived by her daughters, Debra Sensabaugh of Florida, Donna Reeher and Linda Reeher of Ellwood City, Deneen (Harold) Galbreath of New Galilee, her step-daughters, Karen Gardner and Joyce (Dave) Jacobs of Ellwood City, her sons, Clyde (Mary Jane) Reeher, Jr. of Ellwood City, George Reeeher of New Castle, Randy (Kathy) Reeher of Florida, her step-son, Dennis (Kim) Gardener of Ellwood City, her eight grandchildren, Ashley, Gregory, Joshua, Spencer and Hannah Reeher, Ernie Leonard, Kaitlyn and Joseph Ferguson, and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters, Regina (Ronald) Martin of California, Gertrude Ann (Richard) Flute of Florida, and Ruth Audia of West Pittsburgh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Clyde “Sonny” Reeher, Sr., her second husband, William J. Gardner, and her grandson, Jeremy Reeher.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the Service at 7:30 p.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Cindy Antinossi officiating. Interment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
