Mayor Anthony J. Court presented a commendation to Ellwood City Fire Department and Ellwood City Police Department personnel for their quick response which ultimately saved the life of a resident.
“You serve as a reminder how each of us should live our daily lives, going above and beyond the call of duty, dedicated to saving those in need,” the commendation reads. “Life lessons are being taught by your actions and do not go unnoticed by those in the community. These heroic actions will be remembered through conversation and passed onto the future generations.”
