Tamey L. Zak, 60

Tamey L. Zak, 60, of Fombell passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016 in her residence.

Tamey was born on March 18, 1955 in Canonsburg to Gordon and Marlene Wade Baumgardner. She was a member of the Riverside High School class of 1973, and was Catholic by faith. Tamey enjoyed arts and crafts, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Tamey is survived by her husband, Robert S. Zak whom she married on Dec. 29, 1972, her two sons, Chad Zak and his fiance Dr. Sara Mendoza of Colombia, South America, and Robert (Millicent) Zak of Franklin Twp., her two grandchildren, Carley Zak, and Zoe Zak, her mother Marlene Wade Baumgardner of Rochesterher, two sisters, Monaca (Duncan) Smith of Rochester, and Marcy (Tim) Jesseman of New Brighton, and her two brothers, Gordon (Patrice) Baumgardner of Rochester, and Curtis (Katie) Baumgardner of White Twp.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Father Zachary Galiyas officiating. Interment will follow at the St. John’s (Burry’s) Church Cemetery in Zelienople.
