Henrietta A. “Sis” Ritter, our angel, 70, of Friendship Ridge, Beaver, formerly of Ellwood City, left us to enter the loving arms of her mother on Monday afternoon, Jan. 11, 2016 at Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center.
She was born in Ellwood City on July 23, 1945 to the late Carl C. and Betty Wimer Ritter. Although she had many disabilities, a voice would make her smile, music would make her laugh, and she was special to all that were fortunate enough to know her. She will be sadly missed be her family.
Henrietta is survived by two brothers and four sisters, Chris (and Tina) Ritter, Joe (and Tammy) Ritter, Ann (and Johnny) Frank, Linda Zapadka, Kathryn (and Earl) Fosnaught, and Elizabeth Ritter, all of Ellwood City. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. today, Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 in the Turner Funeral Home of Ellwood City, Sixth Street at Park Avenue.
Interment will be in Lillyville Cemetery, Franklin Township.
Memorial contributions may be made, in Henrietta’s name, to the Lawrence County Humane Society, P.O. Box 62, New Castle, PA 16103.
The family would like to thank the staff at Friendship Ridge for the loving care they provided to Henrietta, and for making her smile.
