United Fund Campaign Extended to Jan. 31, 2016

The United Fund is short of its goal of $50,000 by $18,000. We really need the help of the community now. Please give. Live united.

Every year the United Fund asks for the community and surrounding area for its generous support. We need the support so we can continue to help meet the needs of our friends and neighbors. The Ellwood City United Fund is a year round organization that helps to provide funds to the agencies that provide services to the Ellwood City area. More than ever, we need the support of the community today, now.

Your donation will provide shelter to the homeless and the abused, make medical care available to someone in need, pay utilities to provide light and heat, and support local organizations that provide numerous services to our community.

During the Christmas season we read and hear about how people are giving in kindness and love and trying to reach out to others with gifts that keep on giving. An amazing thing happens when we give of ourselves and sacrifice for others. Think about the things you can do to help somebody else. We should all have compassion and understanding for those in need.

If you haven’t given and you can, please do. There are many who depend upon us and other charities for help. Start the New Year with the way you ended the old, with kindness and generosity.
