Wampum Area Business Association Thanks Contributors to “Light Up the Town”

Wampum Area Business Association (WABA) and Wampum Christmas Parade would like to thank everyone who helped make this year’s “Light up the Town” a success. We had an excellent turnout and a great time.

Our thanks goes to Marshall’s Funeral Home for the use of their parking lot for the activities and Olayer Farms for setting up hay wagons for the stage and Stramba Farms for use of their alpaca fence for the dance area. We would also like to thank the Ellwood City Kindergarten children carolers for their wonderful singing performance and Dance Expression and Diamond Dance for their great dancing performances.

In addition, we would like to thank Wampum Underground and W.L Byers for sponsoring the horse and wagon rides and the Wampum Women’s Club for the donation of 225 luminaries and all who helped assemble them.

We also thank our cookie donors: Ferrante Interiors, Marshall’s Funeral Home, Eat’n Park Restaurant and Costco’s and special thanks to Jata’s Diner for making the hot chocolate and coffee.

We would also like to thank Dr. Mark Moore, Diamond Dance, Wampum Underground and W.L. Byers for donations for our goody bags for the children. Bill Smith, Chainsaw Carver, also added to the festivities. Thank you to the Wampum Fire Department for their help and use of their facility for luminaries, and the Wampum Police Department for their help. Lastly, thank you to Wampum Hardware and the Davis Family for the great Firework’s show to top off the evening.

We appreciate everyone who helped make this year’s “Light up the Town’ a huge success.

Respectfully,

Wampum Area Business Association
