During Friday Night’s ‘Light Up Night’ festivities in downtown Lawrence Avenue, the 30-foot Christmas tree was illuminated and followed with a fireworks spectacular. The celebration took place in the community plaza on Lawrence Avenue and followed up with Zambelli Fireworks. Entertainment in the plaza was presented by Rudy Zetz, Janet Falotico and Sharon Grey.
Saturday afternoon will feature the annual Christmas Parade which will take place on Lawrence Avenue and looks to be accompanied with warmer than normal temperature and no precipitation which will be a welcomed sign for those attending and even more for those who attended the wet and rainy Halloween Parade just over a month ago.
