This year will be the fourth year that Mayor Anthony J. Court will be awarding to five local businesses the “Merchants Beautification Award” for 2015. In past years, this was a great success to the area businesses and to the residents. Mayor Court is hoping that all the local businesses will participate and decorate their storefronts, in hopes of spreading Holiday Cheer throughout Ellwood City.
As in years past, any area businesses can be nominated for decorating their store front in the Holiday theme that they choose. Mayor Court will present Award signs and a gift certificate from local restaurants, to five beautifully decorated businesses during the month of December.
So come on Ellwood City Merchants, decorate the town with your favorite holiday theme and tell your customers to nominate your business! This is a great way to spread holiday cheer and at the same time entice people to visit local businesses. Remember to invite your family and friends to our town, so they can attend the many events planned for downtown during the holiday season. They can check out all the window displays, visit with family and friends and do their shopping for that unique item for that someone special, from one of our local shops.
