Special Guest at Eric Ryan Corporation Halloween Party Attracts Major News Outlet

An annual Halloween event at the Eric Ryan Corporation received extra attention due to a special guest.

Every Halloween season, the Eric Ryan offices are decked out into a spooky labyrinth and employees don their best costumes. The children and grandchildren of employees are invited to an afternoon office Trick or Treat.

This year, Trick or Treat featured a special guest: 8-year old Kyree Beachem, who has Hirschsprung’s disease, also known as short gut disease, which affects the intestinal tract. She needs liver, small bowel and pancreas transplants and is on the top of the transplant list at Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital. She was unable to Trick or Treat around town.

A team from WPXI traveled to Ellwood City to cover the event, interviewing Mary DeCaria, CFO of ERC, and Nan Beachem, Kyree’s mother.

To further help support Kyree and her family, the Kyree’s Dream Team is launching a t-shirt sale to raise funds for Kyree Beachem and her family. The t-shirts are navy blue with green print, which is the official color for organ donation, and feature Kyree’s Dream Team logo. The cost of each t-shirt is $15.00 with all proceeds going directly to the family.
