The Ellwood City Lions Club honored Goldieann Bookamer as the October 2015 Student of the Month at their membership meeting Tuesday evening at the Connoquenessing Country Club.
Goldieann is a senior at Lincoln High School and an honor student President of the National Honor Society. She has been involved in clubs and activities, but most of all she loves to run. She is a 10-yr veteran of the Cross Country Team and a 6-yr member of the Track and Field Team. Goldieann is also the President of the German Club and plays tuba for the Marching Band. She is a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church where she volunteers as a Lector and an Altar Server.
The Ellwood City Lions presented Goldieann with a Student Of The Month Certificate and a $100 donation towards her future studies in Forensic Science at Duquesne University.
