About Richard Hogue

On Nov. 16, 2013, Richard Hogue, 28, was murdered. He was a hardworking, blue-collar man, raised with values. He lived to love and help others, a true man with a heart of gold. He was always first to help family, friends, and neighbors in need and talk to anyone in troubled places and guide them to a better judgment.

Rick had a huge heart, and he was never afraid to show it, being an ambitious and enthusiastic man with his entire life ahead of him. He was employed by Nick Mars Construction for several years as a construction worker where he built homes. He enjoyed hunting and everything the great outdoors had to offer. He always had a smile on his face and could liven anyone’s days.

Above all, spending time with his family was most important to him, leaving a son who is now eight that adored him, a mother left empty and distraught, two heartbroken sisters he loved dearly, and two nieces. We know we can never bring Richard back but we have chosen to take our pain and turn it into supporting life.
