Harold J. Buchta, 53 of Woodside Ave., Wayne Township passed away at his residence on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at 11:30 p.m.
Born in Pacoima, California on Sept. 9, 1962 Harold was the son of the late Harold B. and Shirley L. Squires Buchta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Marie Ott Buchta on March 4, 2015. He began working with his father at Harold’s Auto Electric where he developed a passion for tinkering with cars and motorcycles. He later became the owner of his father’s business. Harold was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a graduate of the 1981 Class of Lincoln High School.
Harold is survived by four daughters, Amanda Rose Buchta, Ashley Marie Buchta and Tessa Noel Buchta all of Ellwood City and Anna Holsinger of New Castle, a grandson, Carson Holsinger, three sisters, Tracy and Sam Fidell of Ellwood City, Kelly and Jeffrey Chasser of Ellwood City, Kathy and Brian Plonka of Hauser Lake, Id. and two brothers, Brian and Adriene Buchta of Big Bear, Ca. and Charles and Kathryn Murray of Ellwood City.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral Services for Harold will be held at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. with his Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley. Interment will follow in Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.
