The wind is picking up and the Autumn leaves are floating in the sky. Now is the time to float into the library for some exciting Fall Activities.

BEAVER FALLS, PA –Upcoming programs and activities at the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls.

$5 Bag Sale. The library’s $5 bag sale is continues till November 14th. There are lots of great reads and videos to keep you warm this winter. The 13th Street Room is pack with all kinds of treasures. Children’s books are in the basement lobby.

Oct 28th and Nov 4th—Stories w/ S.T.E.A.M Story experience for children ages 3 to 5 from 10:30am-11:30am. Call to register

Saturday Oct 24th—BF Trick or Treat Downtown. Trick or treat will be 1pm to 3pm
The library will also be having activities from 2:30pm to 3:30pm or so. In the parklet or in library if raining.

Seniors for Safe Driving Refresher Course Saturday Oct 24th 1pm-5pm. Drivers over 55 brush up on your knowledge and skills. There is no test. To register call Seniors for Safe Driving at 800 – 559 – 4880 or register online @ sfsd-PA.com Charge for the class is $16. You do get to save on your car insurance.

Monday Oct 26th—Paws for Reading. Children can practice their reading to Tucker the Therapy Dog. 6pm to 7pm. Call to register for a 15 minute session.

Tuesday Oct 27th—Novel Approach Book Club meets at 5pm to discuss their latest read. Come join in the fun

Wednesday Oct 28th—Beaver Falls Reading Circle meets at 10:30am in the meeting room.

Saturday Nov 7th

Block Party for 0 to 9 year olds in the children’s room from 10:30am to 11:30am. Parent and child together, build create discover.

The Historical Society will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary on Saturday, November 7th from 11am to 2pm, at the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls, Lower Level. Packed with history of Beaver Falls, the Beaver Falls Historical Society Museum houses a collection of old photographs, clothing, china and glassware. There are some unusual pieces as well such as the human skull, jewelry and a shawl made of human hair. Since opening in 1945, the Museum has been serving as a valuable learning tool for the community and is the second oldest museum in the county. At 70 years young, The Beaver Falls Historical Society is the oldest historical society in Beaver County. You are cordially invited to come experience living history with a tour of the museum, displays and society meet and greet. Stamping for Soldiers. Card-making teacher, ROBERTA NAHAS, will be joining us to make cards. Help us create wonderful cards that will be sent to the YELLOW RIBBON GIRLS for our soldiers SATURDAY, November 7th @ 1:00pm All supplies are included. We just need you to show up to craft & enjoy.
